Job summary

Hussmann technicians diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems across supermarket and convenience store environments. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot refrigeration units, and service walk-in coolers with guidance from senior technicians.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, and 1–2 years in the field or relevant tech school training. A valid driver’s license и readiness to work nights/weekends are needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; HVAC-R technical schooling preferred.
• External candidates: 2 years field experience or 0 years with tech school certification.
• Internal candidates: 1 year as General Laborer with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, coil washing, leak searches under supervision.
• Complete work tickets and timesheets; maintain accurate electronic records.
