Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to service supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with compressor changes, leaks, and coil washing under the direction of a Master or Lead Technician.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC-R schooling preferred, and EPA 608 certification. A valid driver's license, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication are required for success on the job.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; HVAC-R technical schooling preferred.
• 0-2 years field experience for external candidates or 1 year as General Laborer with OJT for internal candidates.
• EPA 608 universal certification required for handling refrigerants.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained merchandisers with guidance from a Master/Lead Technician.
• Assist with compressor changes, leak searches, and coil washing under supervision.
• Maintain accurate work tickets, timesheets, and electronic communications.
