Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance supervisor for refrigeration at our facility. You will direct and support maintenance and refrigeration staff, administer safety programs, and coordinate schedules and safety meetings to ensure efficient, cost‑effective operations.

The role requires a post-secondary education or equivalent, 3+ years in refrigeration with supervisory experience, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel may be required, with relocation assistance eligible.

Qualifications

• Education beyond high school or equivalent with vocational training.
• Minimum 3+ years in refrigeration with supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to supervise a team performing similar tasks.
• Travel up to 5 trips per year.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance and refrigeration personnel.
• Administer PSM program and work with contractors/engineering on equipment changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical equipment problems.
• Maintain records and ensure OSHA standards are followed.
• Instruct on PPE use and ergonomics improvements in the facility.
• Coordinate team member schedules, clocking reports and attendance, and safety meetings.
• Perform other refrigeration maintenance duties as assigned.
