Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an industrial maintenance professional for the 1ST SHIFT at a United States facility. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets in a fast-paced factory environment with temperatures around 38–42 degrees.

You may be required to work overtime and weekends, and to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and SCBA-related procedures with proper safety equipment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of industrial maintenance/refrigeration experience preferred or relevant schooling within last 12 months

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months of industrial maintenance/refrigeration (preferred) experience withing the last 12 months and/or verifiable schooling in a relevant industrial maintenance trade in lieu of experience documented in the work history of the application (can be a combination of employers)
• Passing a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical and be recertified each year to maintain position
• Must be clean shaven in order to get a proper fit while using SCBA equipment

Rehire Criteria

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
