Job summary

ACME is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join our in-house maintenance team. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems across our stores, and perform preventive maintenance to uphold safety and efficiency.

You will operate EMS and BMS controls, manage parts orders, document findings, and ensure compliance and safe work practices. This role keeps our stores running, supports energy management, and contributes to a reliable shopping

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems in retail environments.
• Ability to operate EMS/BMS controls and document maintenance activities.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Daily checks of equipment in mechanical rooms, roofs, HVAC, EMS, and refrigerated cases.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration, HVAC, EMS, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, leak checks, and new equipment installations.
• Record information and maintain compliance forms both on paper and electronically.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure proper service calls and safety.
