Job summary

CAREL is seeking a Channel Manager for Refrigeration Distribution to drive revenue growth through North American distribution partners. You will develop channel strategies, recruit and enable distributors, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to align products with market needs.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in channel/distribution management within refrigeration/HVAC sectors, strong analytical and relationship-building skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Four-year university degree or equivalent experience required. Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities. Ability to analyze market opportunities, develop channel growth strategies, identify business risks, and create actionable plans that drive revenue and profitability.
• Five+ years of professional experience in channel management, distribution management, account management, or sales within refrigeration/HVAC/controls industries. Experience with distributor relationships and indirect sales is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM platforms, and business analytics tools; strong organizational and relationship management skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to develop business cases, quantify customer value, calculate ROI, and forecast effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contributor within CAREL branch teams, communicating the value of CAREL solutions to HVAC/R distribution in North America.
• Develop and execute strategic channel plans to drive revenue through refrigeration distribution partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributor leadership, manufacturer representatives, contractors, OEMs, and end users.
• Identify growth opportunities and expand market penetration through channel programs and partner enablement.
• Lead joint business plans, sales strategies, and marketing programs with channel partners to hit sales targets.
