Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Broussard, Louisiana seeks a Refrigeration Diesel Technician to diagnose, overhaul, and repair a range of trucks and trailers with a focus on refrigeration systems. The role offers weekly pay, training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will work second shift from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, with opportunities for certification bonuses and quarterly incentives. A high school diploma, basic tools, and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair incl. maintenance & diagnostics.
• Four+ years relevant work experience preferred; CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive tasks.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical/electronic issues with diagnostic tools.
• Operate shop computers and follow safety and DOT guidelines.
• Coach/mentor other technicians and support fleet operations.
• Drive Ryder vehicles and complete road tests as required.
