Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking a Diesel Technician for our Hammond/Robert, LA location. You will service trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot a range of systems to keep fleets moving.

The role requires at least 1 year of shop experience, a valid license, and readiness to work with DOT inspections. Night shifts offer a $2/hour differential and ASE pay for certified skills; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT annual inspections.
• 1+ year of shop experience performing diagnostics and repairs.
• Experience with trailer and reefer systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems; perform FHWA inspections and tire services.
