Ryder is seeking a Refrigeration Diesel Technician in Broussard, Louisiana, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair refrigeration systems like Thermo King and Carrier on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

This full-time role features a second shift (11:00 am – 7:30 pm), weekends off, and opportunities for certification bonuses, merit pay increases, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience, preferred.
• CDL CLASS A, preferred.
• All other certification as required by location, required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair a full range of trucks and trailers focusing on refrigeration systems.
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
• Repair mechanical and electronic problems including AC and electrical systems.
• Coach/mentor other technicians and support shop operations.
