Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Inc. is seeking mechanically inclined candidates to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trucks, trailers, and transport refrigeration systems. Prior diesel or dealership experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair commercial trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and air systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Repair brakes, suspension components, lighting and trailer equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment, schematics and service information.
• Learn diesel, trailer and transport refrigeration systems through hands-on training.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diesel, truck, trailer or refrigeration experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair commercial trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and air systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Repair brakes, suspension components, lighting and trailer equipment.
• Document repairs and communicate findings to the service team.
• Learn diesel, trailer and transport refrigeration systems through hands-on training.
• Follow safety procedures.
