Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) seeks a Refrigeration Construction Foreman to lead field operations on supermarket refrigeration installations, including new stores and remodels. You will supervise trades, maintain strong client communication, and ensure timely, safe, high-quality workmanship.

Candidates should have 5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to interpret blueprints. Occasional travel and mentoring of junior team members are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver's License.
• 5 years' experience leading and directing commercial refrigeration installations on jobsites.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with contractors, inspectors, and laborers.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints and coordinating trades on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and direct trades to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, colleagues, and leadership.
• Develop and adjust work schedules to meet deadlines and weather challenges.
• Provide project status updates to project managers and leadership.
• Uphold safety standards and OSHA compliance on all sites.
• Interpret blueprints, perform material takeoffs, and procure supplies.
• Oversee piping, compressor rooms, and refrigeration cases per specs.
• Record daily progress and mentor junior team members.
