Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a Refrigeration Construction Foreman to oversee field operations and guide tradespeople in supermarket refrigeration installations for new stores and remodels. You will maintain client communication and manage schedules to adapt to deadlines and weather challenges.

Ideal candidates bring 5 years of leadership in commercial refrigeration, strong safety and OSHA compliance, and solid Microsoft Office and coordination skills to ensure top-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5 years' relevant experience leading and directing commercial refrigeration installations on jobsites.
• Conducts safety meetings and maintains OSHA compliance while protecting company assets.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with contractors, inspectors, and laborers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and direct tradespeople to ensure quality refrigeration installations for new stores and remodels.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and project teams.
• Foster collaboration and workplace efficiency.
• Develop and adjust work schedules to meet deadlines amid delays and weather.
• Provide project status updates to stakeholders.
• Uphold high quality and safety standards in the work environment.
• Interpret blueprints, perform material takeoffs, and procure supplies.
• Oversee piping, overhead lines, compressor rooms and refrigeration cases to meet specs.
• Record and submit daily progress reports and document discrepancies.
• Train and mentor junior team members across trades.
