Job summary

Prism Specialty Restoration is a national disaster restoration company specializing in restoring commercial and residential electronics. This role performs on-site and off-site diagnostics and repairs for appliances including walk-in coolers, refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, and ovens.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, communicate options and costs to customers, and manage service van inventory and job documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification required for handling refrigerants in sealed systems.
• Factory certifications from major manufacturers are strongly preferred.
• Solid experience troubleshooting and repairing major appliances.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy appliance equipment and maneuver safely.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and off-site diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for appliances, including walk-in coolers, refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, and ovens.

• Factory Certifications: Major manufacturer certifications (e.g., GE Appliances, LG, Samsung, Whirlpool) are strongly preferred.


• Solid experience troubleshooting and repairing major appliances.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills.


• Ability to lift heavy appliance equipment and maneuver in safely.

Preferred Experience with computers, consumer electronics, appliances, and commercial equipment.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
