Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is hiring for a General Warehouse role at the Chicago Stock Yards location in Aurora, IL. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–6:00 pm with overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Duties include picking/packing, scanning, palletizing, shipping/receiving, and sanitation in a refrigerated/frozen environment. Applicants should have at least 6 months warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and be comfortable operating pallet jacks and forklifts in a temperature-controlled

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience preferred, preferably in a food environment.
• Must be able to operate electric pallet jack and sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to lift 10-100 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders per customer specification.
• Scan product as directed to capture required data.
• Sort, organize, repack, palletize, track, weigh and break down various products to assist production as needed.
• Ship and receive product utilizing material handling equipment.
• Perform facility sanitation duties as required.
• Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management.
