Job summary

US Foods, Inc. at the Chicago Stock Yards site in Aurora, IL is seeking a production packer for first shift. You will prepare and pack meat products, follow USDA safety rules, and meet customer specs in a fast-paced refrigerated environment.

The role offers Monday–Friday 6:00 am–6:00 pm with overtime as needed, and you must be able to work in refrigerated 35°F–45°F and freezer levels. Training on GMP and quality control is provided, with bilingual support (Hablo Español) and potential for

• High School diploma or GED preferred; basic reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment preparing meat products to feed lines and/or for the next stage of processing.
• Effectively utilize tools, processes, and materials to process and package meat products within planned schedules.
• Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet specifications.
• Meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
