Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (ceramics, metallurgy, chemical, materials science or related field).
• Knowledge of industry applications, refractory science, and marketing/technical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to work in a team; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 2–4 years' experience in technical, R&D or commercial refractory roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for customer assistance, quotations, training, investigation of complaints and research collaborations.
• Analyze application needs and refine lining designs and installation methods.
• Support product promotions, marketing strategies and attend industry tradeshows.
• Conduct market and portfolio analysis to identify new opportunities aligned with segment plans.
• Offer strategic customer sales and technical support.
• Assist in product rationalization, portfolio modifications and pricing strategies.
