Job summary

Par Pacific is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to lead and execute a comprehensive mechanical integrity program across refinery fixed equipment. You will apply API/ASME codes, RBI methodology and NDE interpretation to develop repair recommendations and support turnaround planning.

The role requires 5+ years in refinery inspections, strong technical leadership, and collaboration across engineering, operations and maintenance to improve asset reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years refinery experience with at least 3 years in inspection.
• Proficient in API/ASME codes and RBI methodologies.
• Ability to lead inspections and review NDE results and repair recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inspection records per procedures and standards.
• Review NDE results for code compliance and clarity.
• Lead inspections and develop repair plans for vessels, piping, tanks and relief devices.
• Support turnaround planning and asset integrity programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and maintenance.
