Job summary

Intertek is seeking an API 510/Mechanical Integrity Inspector to join our Asset Integrity Management team in Houston. You will perform API inspections on Mechanical Integrity/RBI projects and oversee RBMI programs, guiding repairs and compliance per API standards.

NDE may be required, with data entry into the RBMI database and coordination of turnaround activities. The role requires 7+ years in Mechanical Integrity Inspection, API 510 certification, and a valid TWIC card, plus a strong

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Mechanical Integrity Inspection.
• API 510 certification (additional 570/653/580 a plus).
• NDE and drafting background preferred.
• Valid TWIC card required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.
• Excellent computer and organizational skills; self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment per API 510, API 570, and RBI.
• Data entry into the RBMI database and develop an RBI Inspection program.
• Provide oversight and recommendations for the RBMI program.
• Conduct NDE inspections as needed.
• Coordinate turnaround inspection activities and write detailed reports.
