Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Refinery Maintenance Technician to join a collaborative maintenance team on the day shift. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks, learn refinery operations, and receive strong training to advance in maintenance or operations.

The role emphasizes safety and hands-on problem solving, with responsibilities including work-order execution, following procedures, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• US legal work authorization (no visa sponsorship required).
• Strong general craftsman background with oil & gas, plant, mining or related experience.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Capable of lifting 60 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete work orders from the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow instructions, policies and procedures precisely.
• Plan and organize tasks to ensure safe and efficient execution, including reviewing requirements and identifying safest approach.
• Obtain necessary work permits from Refinery Operators.
• Maintain work areas, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and report concerns.
• Use mechanical and pipe-fitting skills to repair or replace components, install or repair piping and insulation, and perform related tasks.
• Follow hazardous materials handling and disposal procedures and ensure decontamination of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
