Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Welder for its Maintenance Team in Kapolei, Hawaii. You will gain hands-on experience in welding, pipefitting, and boilermaker work related to refinery equipment maintenance and repair, under supervision, following established procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing employee development. You’ll work with a collaborative team, support safe refinery operations, and be available for callouts and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer (no visa transfer/sponsorship).
• Eligible to obtain TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be available for 9-hour shifts on a 9/80 schedule, and may require overtime, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to perform welding and install piping components and structural steel.
• Perform gas, electric arc, helium gas, and heliarc welding.
• Perform pipe fitting, hot tapping, rigging, and boilermaker work.
• Torque bolts and install/remove blinds; operate torquing equipment.
• Work safely in confined spaces, at heights, and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate progress and issues with supervisors and teammates.
• Remain available for callouts and overtime as needed.
