Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Superintendent for its Tideflats Tacoma refinery operations.

You will supervise day-to-day refinery logistics, coordinate on-shift operations, and ensure safety, environmental, production, quality and reliability goals are met. You’ll work closely with HR on talent acquisition, performance management, and labor relations for the Operations team, lead refinery movements and blending programs, and drive process optimization with the Operations

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical) preferred.
• 7 years of oil refining operations experience.
• Front-line supervisory experience; labor relations with a union workforce preferred.
• Strong communication across all levels and proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day refinery operations and on-shift supervision to meet safety, environmental, production, quality and reliability goals.
• Partner with HR on talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and labor relations (union/CBA) for Operations staff.
• Execute refinery movements and blending program and drive optimization improvements.
• Lead incident response, process safety management, SOPs, training, MOC, PSSR and investigations.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Marketing and Safety on unit status; manage Turnaround scoping and scheduling.
