Job summary

Par Pacific in Kapolei, HI, seeks a Welder to join our Maintenance Team. You will perform welding, pipefitting and boilermaker work on refinery equipment, following instructions to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Expect hands-on training, overtime opportunities, and a collaborative environment that prioritizes safety, integrity and teamwork. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year relevant experience, and TWIC eligibility.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States.
• Eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
• Must be available to work 9-hour shifts on a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).
• Must be able to take call outs and work overtime as needed.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, day and night shifts as needed.
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 180 feet and in confined spaces such as drums, towers or tanks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to perform welding and install piping components and structural steel.
• Perform gas, electric arc, helium gas, and heliarc welding.
• Perform pipe fitting, hot tapping, rigging, and boilermaker work.
• Torque bolts and install or remove blinds.
• Safely operate pneumatic and hydraulic torquing equipment.
• Learn and apply appropriate rigging techniques and procedures.
• Assemble and prepare tools and materials required for assigned work.
• Safely work in confined spaces, including drums, towers, and tanks.
• Safely work at elevated heights with fall-protection equipment.
• Comply with safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures.
