Job summary

Primient is seeking a Refinery Maintenance Technician to monitor and maintain heavy‑duty plant equipment in our food processing refinery. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient.

The successful candidate has a high school diploma or GED, vocational training preferred, and hands‑on experience with diagnostic tools, power tools, and maintenance software. Rotating shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or certification is a plus.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in a relevant field preferred.
• Certifications are advantageous and related experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Refinery equipment monitoring: oversee plant equipment and perform replacements/repairs as needed.
• Compliance and safety: monitor emissions and conduct routine safety checks.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose mechanical/process issues and apply adjustments.
• Documentation: track inventory, service records and report malfunctions.
