Job summary

Mahoney Environmental Solutions, LLC in Mendota, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our busy used cooking oil refining plant. The role supports the 24/7 operation with a first shift schedule and potential night or weekend work as needed.

You will read blueprints, install and align components, weld, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and perform pipefitting and motor pump repairs. A high school diploma and 3–4 years of industrial maintenance experience are required; lift up to 100

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Read blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience with pipefitting.

Responsibilities

• Align, fit, and assemble parts using power tools and hand tools.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders for equipment assembly.
• Stick and MIG weld in all positions.
• Diagnose, repair, and analyze electrical components and circuits of various voltages.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience with pipefitting.
• Diagnose pump or motor issues. Repair or replace necessary components.
• Repair equipment that is not operating properly including Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Steam, and Electrical systems.
• Follow all safety trainings, policies and procedures and have a safety-first mindset.
• Climb ladders to reach

We are looking for a Maintenance technician to join the team.

Schedule: This is a full-time position working first shift, Monday through Friday. However, the plant operates 24 hours a day and there may be times, due to business need where you may need to work nights or weekends. Starting Hourly Rate: $24.50-$26 Benefits:

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of industrial maintenanceexperience required.
• Analytical thought process.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 100lbs.
• High school diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Valid US Drivers license.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, kneel, climb ladders and squat for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet, in confined spaces, and in adverse temperatures and weather conditions.

Working conditions:

• Exposure to used cooking oil odors.
• Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Handling grease coated equipment.
