Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or intern/extern in approved program.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification required unless enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage prescription refill requests with providers and clinical staff.
• Analyze refill requests for accuracy prior to pharmacist review.
• Enter and maintain prescription data in the pharmacy system.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and pharmacies to clarify requests.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and patient safety.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality in all communications.
• Support pharmacists and team members in daily operations.
• Prioritize workload to meet volume demands with accuracy.
