Job summary

Ardent Health seeks a Remote Referral Trainer to design and deliver EPIC and soft-skill training for adult learners, ensuring an excellent patient experience.

You will support onboarding, build cross-team collaboration, and continually improve curricula with adult-learning principles and value-added continuing education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of healthcare work experience, including hospital patient accounting and clinical software.
• Epic training certification is required.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and healthcare financial software.

Responsibilities

• Designs and facilitates technical (EPIC) and soft-skill training for adult learners.
• Maintains a positive onboarding and transition experience to retain talent.
• Collaborates with Operations and Support to deliver recurrent education for Referral Coordinators.
• Applies adult learning principles to continually improve curriculum.
• Develops facilitator-led and web-based curriculum to enhance patient experience.
• Contributes to a positive culture and organizational learning within the referral team.

Responsibilities

• The Referral Trainer ensures a world-class patient experience by designing and facilitating technical (EPIC) and soft-skill training for adult learners.
• Retains talent through a positive on-boarding, training, and transition experience.
• Forms strong relationships and collaborates with Operations and other Support departments to develop and deliver recurrent education to Referral Coordinators.
• Applies adult learning principles and practices to continually improve curriculum and develop value-add continuing education.
• Develops industry-standard facilitator-led and web-based curriculum to enable the best patient experience.
• Has a positive cultural impact through engineering organizational learning within the referral team.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree.
• 2+ years of healthcare work experience, hospital patient accounting experience, including clinical software.
• Required Epic training certification.
• Strong computer Skills, Word, Excel, and healthcare financial software.

• Bachelor's Degree.
