Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Experience in managed care referrals preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding, and medical terminology preferred.
• Must adhere to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing faxes for the referral department.
• File accumulated paperwork as needed.
• Print and mail patient authorization/denial letters daily.
• Request, run, and distribute reports for the referral department daily.
• Assist with computer data entry.
