Job summary

The Oklahoma Arthritis Center is seeking a dedicated referrals liaison to coordinate patient referrals from outside providers and manage related documentation. You will schedule appointments, handle medical documentation, and respond to inquiries with professional, HIPAA-compliant service.

Key duties include confirming insurance coverage, coordinating pre-certifications, and maintaining accurate data entry in the Practice Management system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related training/experience preferred.
• Experience with Practice Management Systems or EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and inquiries related to outside referrals.
• Verify insurance coverage and discuss options.
• Coordinate all referral scheduling and data entry in the system.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to patients and providers.
• Assist with coordinating pre-certifications/authorizations when needed.
