Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Referral Coordinator for the PMG - Socorro location. The role involves handling referrals and scheduling for providers and their offices, utilizing CARES, AIDET and EPE tools to ensure a positive experience and timely communications with patients and physicians.

The ideal candidate has 18+ months of medical office experience, EPIC registration competency, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and escalations effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months experience in a medical office with significant MD interaction.
• Proficiency in prior authorization/certification/referral process.
• EPIC Registration competency after completion of training class.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Achieve exceptional experience for providers and referring offices using CARES, AIDET and EPE tools.
• Ensure timely communications with providers and patients.
• Schedule referrals and coordinate provider-to-provider communication as needed.
• Resolve concerns using appropriate escalation and resources.
• Coordinate access for referrals across departments.
• Follow up to update referrals status with providers.
• Maintain knowledge of program operations for referrals and hand-offs.
• Gather feedback from referring offices with Business Development partners to improve service.
