Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 18 months experience in a medical office setting with MD interaction.
• Proficiency in prior authorization/certification/referral process.
• EPIC Clerical Training and competency for Registration.
• Short-term training in Medical Terminology.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Regular annual competency exams.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to function under pressure with professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate referrals from providers and offices via phone.
• Schedule referrals and coordinate provider-to-provider communication.
• Ensure timely communications with providers and patients.
• Assist with prior authorization requirements and processes.
• Manage scheduling workflows and hand-offs for referrals.
• Follow up to confirm referral status and outcomes.
• Gather feedback from referring offices to improve experience.
• Maintain knowledge of program operations and processes.
