Job summary

North Shore Community Health (NSCH) is seeking a Referral Coordinator I to manage diagnostic orders, communicate with patients and providers, and coordinate with central scheduling and insurers. This role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and teamwork across sites in the North Shore region.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service experience in medical settings, familiarity with EMR systems, and bilingual abilities in English and Spanish/Portuguese.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service, preferably in medical/office setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish/Portuguese and English preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of diagnostic services and scheduling.
• Coordinate and communicate with patients, providers, central scheduling, and insurance companies.
• Document and verify information in the EMR and manage referrals and authorizations.
