Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification, associate degree, or healthcare related coursework required.
• 2+ years experience in a healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Review and process provider orders by gathering necessary records.
• Collaborate with providers, patients, and servicing facilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with external facilities for communication and record exchange.
• Document information in EMR and Referral Management System.
• Perform outreach via phone, fax, and email.
• Verify appointment attendance and obtain correspondence from external facilities.
• Assist with resolving barriers such as financial aid, transportation, and language interpretation.
• Work with clinical staff on same-day emergent orders.
