Job summary

HealthLinc is seeking a Referral Representative to act as a liaison between patients, providers, and specialty sites. You will verify patient eligibility, prepare referral information, and maintain accurate documentation to support the referral workflow.

The role reports to the Assistant Site Operations Director and requires strong organizational, communication, and team skills to ensure timely coordination with clinics and patients.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
• Experience with basic medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizes referrals to specialists and serves as a resource for patients and staff.
• Checks Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance provider coverage online.
• Completes referral information for Providers as requested.
• Maintains and updates referral resource binder and tracks open orders.
