Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain referrals and prior authorizations for various physician and facility services.
• Coordinate with patients, physicians, and insurers to obtain timely authorizations.
• Verify eligibility, benefits, and financial clearance per department policies.
• Document referral/authorization status and verification information in systems.
• Resolve financial clearance issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare services in the assigned area.
