Job summary

Labcorp in Dallas, TX is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to perform specimen preparation, data entry and support lab operations. This entry-level role requires detail orientation and the ability to work Sunday through Thursday night shift.

Responsibilities include preparing specimens for analysis, troubleshooting issues, releasing results and assisting clients with requests while maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Prior Labcorp experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Labcorp experience 1 year or more in a medical/clinical laboratory.

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday - 1 am - 9:30 am

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems

Minimum Qualification

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualification

Current or prior Labcorp experience 1 year or more of experience in a medical / clinical laboratory experience

Additional Job Standards

• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Well organized and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
