Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an Onsite Reference Test Clerk for our team in Hickory, NC. Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00 am - 7:30 pm, onsite at client offices.

Responsibilities include specimen accessioning, data entry, and ensuring accurate sample labeling and packaging for testing. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and prefer 1+ year in a lab or related field; comfortable with MS Office and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or production or manufacturing.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• 2 years or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience.

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Communicate effectively with client office staff.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Scrub requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items are updated.
• Do spinning/freezing/splitting and other special services as needed based on client.

Onsite Lab and Customer Support Clerk Labcorp is seeking an Onsite Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Hickory, NC. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00 am - 7:30 pm

Minimum Qualifications

The Hospital Reference Test Clerk will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices.
