Job summary

Curry County is seeking a Re-Entry Services Coordinator to link participants with housing, transportation, and mental health resources, helping ensure a successful transition after release.

The role collaborates with the Reentry Services Program Manager, detention staff, community partners, and public agencies to provide personalized, empathetic support, reduce recidivism, and strengthen reentry outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in private and public settings.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to monitor systems.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Canva.
• Experience with community resource navigation or case management preferred.
• Knowledge of local social services (housing, Medicaid, SNAP, mental health) preferred.
• Experience with justice-involved populations or correctional settings preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
• Must possess a valid New Mexico Driver’s License.
• Criminal background check clearance required.
