Job summary

BLACK - Building Leadership And Community Knowledge seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead Workforce Development Coordinators and Case Managers in Chicago. You will coach staff, conduct annual evaluations, manage grant-funded projects, and monitor budgets to ensure contractual compliance and program outcomes.

You will audit records, maintain data systems, develop partnerships with community and government entities, and prepare monthly CQI reports to track service utilization and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, psychology, social work or related field.
• Two years related experience or higher education in lieu of experience.
• Preferred certifications such as ORAS, CBI-EMP, AED/CPR, OWDS/CDF; familiarity with Uniform Guidelines for grant administration/budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of Workforce Development Coordinators and Case Managers.
• Audit records and ensure grant compliance and program outcomes.
• Develop relationships with community organizations and government entities.
• Prepare monthly CQI reports tracking service utilization and outcomes.
• Lead staff meetings and act as site manager when the Program Director is unavailable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
