Job summary

Gosonyc seeks a Program Manager of Re-entry Services in New York to lead strategic oversight of facility-based and community-based reentry programming for justice-involved youth aged 16-24. You will supervise Credible Messengers, Reentry Coordinators, and program staff, ensuring trauma-informed, restorative practices and strong performance management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years of reentry, juvenile justice, or criminal legal system programming.
Direct supervisory and program management experience.
Experience in jails, detention facilities, courts, or correctional systems is strongly preferred.
Experience with adolescents aged 16-24.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for all reentry programming across facility-based and community-based settings.
Oversee daily program operations ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed service delivery.
Develop, implement, and refine short- and long-term program goals.
Ensure ATI mandates, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements are met.
Oversee program quality, outcomes tracking, and service effectiveness.
Ensure accurate, timely data entry across all programs and outcomes.
Conduct twice-weekly programming at Rikers Island with mentorship and reentry prep.
Coordinate liaison with ACS, DOC, probation, parole, courts, attorneys, and facility staff.
