Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a college or university.
• Two years of professional experience in corrections, law enforcement, probation, parole, juvenile justice or related field.
• Military or graduate studies may substitute for experience/education where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support offenders in reentry efforts in line with departmental guidelines.
• Facilitate reentry programs for the justice-involved population.
• Attend and participate in local reentry council meetings.
• Lead reentry initiatives and serve as liaison for institutions, jails, probation and parole.
• Maintain communication with Division of Reentry and community partners, including local employers.
• Analyze program data and create status reports.
• Evaluate and improve procedures to support reentry initiatives.
• Supervise reentry staff in community and institutional settings.
• Case manage the justice-involved population to promote employment and success.
