Job summary

EDEN Inc. seeks a Stability Specialist to assist individuals exiting prison or facing housing insecurity. You will perform housing outreach, liaise between landlords and tenants, and coordinate with case managers to secure housing options and subsidies.

Travel to community sites is required as you engage with participants and housing partners. Responsibilities include evaluating housing barriers, accompanying participants to view units, and conducting HUD-compliant inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services related field.
• Experience working with individuals with criminal backgrounds preferred.
• Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Outreaches to participants to assist in retaining or finding housing.
• Responds to referrals from EDEN staff, partnering agencies, landlords, and others promptly.
• Maintains/refines referrals and reports statistics to supervisor.
• Educates participants on EDENs subsidy programs and access to housing resources.
• Works with participants, subsidy staff, property managers and partners to arrange support.
