Job summary

Hope Solutions in California seeks a Reentry Housing Specialist to guide homeless and at-risk individuals toward stable housing. You will provide financial assistance as needed, assess housing needs, and connect clients with suitable housing opportunities across multiple locations.

You will collaborate with landlords, service providers, and local agencies to navigate housing barriers, support document readiness, and advocate for clients’ rights and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of “Housing First” philosophy and strategies.
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft and database applications.
• Must have an operational vehicle, auto insurance, valid CA driver's license, and be willing to drive for work.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess housing needs and create plans for obtaining housing.
• Assist clients with document readiness and housing applications.
• Identify housing opportunities and mitigate screening barriers.
• Provide housing-related resources and tenant/landlord guidance.
• Work with landlords and community partners to expand housing options.
