Job summary

California State University, Bakersfield is seeking a Project Rebound Housing Coordinator to provide housing navigation and case management for students facing housing insecurity. You will connect students to campus and community resources, assist with rental assistance plans, and coordinate outreach activities to raise awareness of housing services.

This 3-year grant-funded role requires data tracking, collaboration with the Counseling Center and Campus Advocate, and ongoing support to ensure

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or related field and two years of related experience.
• A master’s degree in a job-related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing navigation and rental assistance referrals to students in housing insecurity.
• Assist students in applying for rental assistance and eviction protection programs.
• Develop action plans to secure stable housing and review lease agreements with tenants.
• Coordinate with campus and community partners to offer support and resources.
• Track housing outcomes and prepare standard monthly/annual reports for leadership.
