Job summary

Friends Outside is seeking a full-time Case Manager Assistant to support the "Welcome Home" program aimed at providing rental assistance and case management for individuals with incarceration history. You will work closely with clients in need, assisting them in accessing community resources and ensuring comprehensive case management.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s Degree in social services or related field, with at least one year of experience in similar settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a valid California driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience with case management services.
• Ability to work with high-risk populations and provide nonjudgmental support.
• Certified Community Health Worker or the ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management assistance to clients and form case plans.
• Seek housing for recently released individuals and negotiate with landlords.
• Conduct home visits and assist with community resource navigation.
