Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and two years of employment placement experience, with corrections experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and two years of experience in job development and placement.
Experience with corrections is preferred.
Applicants may substitute an Associate’s Degree and three years of experience.

Responsibilities

Assesses needs of offenders related to employment, vocational and educational needs.
Develops and coordinates community resources.
Serves as a liaison to local businesses.
Participates in intake, screening and assessment procedures.
Maintains offender and service records per procedures.
Provide training on proper dress and interview techniques.
Develop an employment resource file and use resources for the offender.
Assist offenders in obtaining and maintaining employment.
Provide job coaching and on-site training.
Maintain communication with employers and document accordingly.
