Job summary

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a Senior Employment Specialist (CV162-1) in the Reentry Services Division to report to the Director and join the treatment team. The role focuses on helping clients obtain employment by connecting them with jobs and training opportunities, while building community links with employers and partner organizations.

• Associates Degree in Human Services and two years experience in vocational counseling and job placement.
• Experience in job placement, employability skills, career networking, and knowledge of local labor market.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is looking to hire a Senior Employment Specialist will report to the Director and will become part of the treatment team.

The successful applicant will:

• Possess a valid driver's license and be able to meet Volunteers of America Delaware Valley's driver standards.

Credentials/Abilities:

• Aminimum of anAssociates Degreein the Human Services field and two years experience in vocational counseling and job placement.
• Experience in working with clientele in the following areas;
