The GEO Group is hiring for a role within GEO Reentry Services LLC to deliver education-based services and rehabilitation program support. The position focuses on using the What Works system, guiding parolees toward employment, training and college opportunities within California.

Responsibilities include assessments, plan development, counseling, and collaboration with partners to secure jobs and resources for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with relevant experience in job development or similar role.
• Alternative: high school diploma with four years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, resources and referrals for educational and employment advancement.
• Oversee supervision and rehabilitation program functions for clients.
• Model evidence-based practices in interactions with clients and staff.
• Assess parolee education needs and create individualized plans.
• Refer parolees to employers, training facilities or community agencies.
• Assist parolees with resume writing, mock interviews and time management.
• Help parolees assemble documents for work in California.
• Identify and explain benefits of criminal record expungement and rehabilitation.
