Job summary

The Kintock Group in the United States is seeking a full-time employment counselor to develop employment opportunities and provide ongoing counseling, job readiness, and placement for a reentry population. The role focuses on helping clients prepare for work, navigate hiring processes, and engage in training programs.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, you will build relationships with employers, deliver group and one-on-one coaching, and ensure documentation complies with contract

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience in a community-based human service organization.
• Federal, state and local employment laws knowledge.
• Ability to develop and maintain employment opportunities for the target population.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a bank of employment opportunities for the offender population.
• Assist employers in establishing recruiting standards to help hard-to-place candidates.
• Provide job-search, application and interview skills training to clients.
• Offer counseling and information on employment laws and compliance.
• Document accurately and timely per contract guidelines.
• Support clients to maintain employment or complete training programs.
