Job summary

The GEO Group, a global leader in evidenced-based rehabilitation, seeks a dedicated facilitator in Johnson City, Tennessee. This role supports program participants with reentry preparation using CBIP, Victim Impact, SAFE, and Relapse Prevention modules, applying What Works principles in all interactions.

You will lead cognitive-behavioral sessions, maintain rosters and certificates, assess needs, provide counseling, and assist with post-release planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field is required.
• Experience as a facilitator/educator or group moderator.
• Preference for correctional setting experience.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Principles of Effective Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cognitive behavioral curriculum in individual and group settings.
• Maintain class rosters, attendance records, and issue completion certificates.
• Assess participant needs and refer to management as needed.
• Provide individual and group counseling on self-esteem and problem solving.
• Assist with reentry planning and community resource referrals.
• Coordinate post-release planning and encourage responsible behaviors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
