Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• Experience as facilitator/educator/group moderator.
• Preference for correctional setting experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiar with the correctional system and policies.

Responsibilities

• Delivers cognitive behavioral curriculum in individual and group settings.
• Reviews curriculum and resources to enhance life skills participation.
• Maintains rosters, attendance, and provides completion certificates.
• Supports needs assessment and makes referrals to management.
• Provides counseling in areas including self‑esteem and problem solving.
